Hellooooooooooooo everybody, how are you 'cause I am fine! It is.......CHRISTMAS BREAK!! I am making lots and lots of Christmas cookies with my mom. I think that she is the best German-Christmas-cookie baker ever! Did you know that my mom is a pastry cook and used to work in a fancy hotel? She had to stop when she was pregnant with me......so really, I worked there, too! Tee hee, hee. Would you like to know the kinds of German Christmas cookies that we make? OK!
Lavender Shortbread, Chewy Lebkuchen (Soft German spice cookies), Vanilla Kipferle (Shaped like moons), Cranberry Pumpkin Seed Biscotti, and Spekulatius (Dutch spice cookies). This time of year is Soooooo delicious!
